for Indian Nationals
Criteria for Admissions:
All the Admissions are in
accordance with the Admission Norms of the Concerned
University/ties. A Candidate is required to
fulfill the eligibility criteria as set up by
the concerned university in terms of
o Minimum Percentage of Marks in concerned optional
and aggregate.
o Minimum Age to have been completed at the
time of admission
o Original Documents required.
o Candidates are advised to check on the eligibility
criteria of the courses he/she intends to join.
o The details of eligibility criteria are available
in the information provided about each course.
Provisional
Admission:
Candidates are given the option
of taking provisional admission to any course
offered by us by downloading the prescribed
application form and enclosing all the relevant
documents and forwarding it to us with a DD
of Rs. 10,000 /-. The payment to be made by
way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the institution
applying to:
For eg.
1. Admission in Physiotherapy,
DD should be in favour of K.Pandyarajah Ballal
College of Physiotherapy, payable at Mangalore.
2. Addmission in
Nursing, DD should be in favour of
K.Pandyarajah Ballal College of Nursing. Payable
at Mangalore.
3. Admission in school
of Nursing, DD should be in favour
of K.Pandyarajah Ballal School of Nursing. Payable
at Mangalore.
The provisional admission
fee will be adjusted with the tuition fee on
confirmation of the admission.

o Xerox copies of all the testimonials

Confirmation of Admission
is done on producing original testimonials and
balance fee at the cash counter at the time
of reporting.

Under Graduate (UG) Courses
o 10th Marks Card
o 12th Marks Card
o Transfer Certificate
o Migration Certificate (for non-Karnataka candidates
only)
o Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST)
o Age Proof Certificate (in case DOB is not
mentioned in the testimonials)
o Any other related documents if any
o Photographs – 10 stamp size / 10 passport
size
o 2 sets of Xerox of all the testimonials
o Medical Fitness Certificate

Post Graduate
(PG) Course
o Degree Marks Cards
o Degree Certificate or Provisional Degree Certificate
o Transfer Certificate
o Migration Certificate

o Any other related documents, if any
o Photographs – 10 stamp size / 10 passport

The Date of Commencement of
each course will be notified to the candidates
in advance.

When
to Apply? Admissions to various courses
offered at k.Pandyarajah ballal generally starts
from March- April of every year and the duration
subjects to availability of seats.
Admission
Cell: The administrative Office has the
tradition of organizing an Admission Cell few
days prior to the commencement of the academic
session to enable completion of admission procedures
such as submission of testimonials, payment
of fees and other formalities. The date of the
Admission Cell is notified under NOTICE BOARD.
Hostels:
It is compulsory for all the candidates (Boys
and Girls) to stay in the college hostels during
the I year for Boys and all the years for Girl
students.

Criteria
for Admission for NRI / Foreign Nationals
Candidates willing to pursue
any of the programmes offered at k.Pandyarajah
ballal are required to fulfill the eligibility
criteria as set by the concerned University/ties.
Candidates can download the
application form made available in the website
and send it across to the administrative office
with the required details such as
o Duly filled application
form.
o Demand Draft for 500 US$ (Five Hundred US
Dollars only) . Draft should be drawn in favour
of the institution you are applying to.
For eg.
1. Admission in Physiotherapy,
DD should be in favour of K.Pandyarajah Ballal
College of Physiotherapy, payable at Mangalore.
2. Admission in Nursing,
DD should be in favour of K.Pandyarajah Ballal
College of Nursing. Payable at Mangalore.
3. Admission in school
of Nursing, DD should be in favour
of K.Pandyarajah Ballal School of Nursing. Payable
at Mangalore.
o The provisional admission
fee will be adjusted with the tuition fee on
confirmation of the admission.
o Passport copy (first and last 2 pages).
o Copies of all the testimonials i.e. A level,
O level, Leaving Certificate, Migration Certificate,
etc.,
It is the sole responsibility
of the candidate to arrange for Visa and to
fulfill other formalities as required by the
concerned embassy/ties.
Provisional Admission to any
course can be made only against submission of
the above mentioned papers. Once the following
documents are received, the candidate will be
given a provisional admission to the course
he/she intends to join and his application will
be forwarded to the concerned university for
verification of his/her eligibility to the course.
The Commencement of the academic
year is informed well in advance so as to enable
the applicants to complete their preparation.
International Students Committee
is specially formed to coordinate with the Foreign/NRI
candidates and to resolve any kind of difficulty/problem
faced by them.

Hostels:
NRI/ Foreign Nationals (both boys and girls)
have the privilege of availing special accommodation
in the college hostels at very nominal rates.
Continental food is being served as per your
taste and requirements.
The candidate once enrolled
to any of the courses at k.Pandyarajah ballal
shall abide by the Rules and Regulations of
the college in terms of discipline, academics,
etc.,
Attendance:
80% attendance is compulsory for all the candidates
in all the subjects.
ID
Card: Students are provided
with the Identity Cards right from the beginning
of the academic year. It is mandatory for all
the students to produce ID Cards whenever demanded.
Loss of ID Cards may immediately be reported
to the Administrative Office and Duplicate card
may be applied for , with applicable penalty
charges.

Code
of Conduct: All the candidates
are expected to follow the code of conduct of
the institution. Any such violation will attract
disciplinary actions from the concerned authorities.
Time
Table: Time Table is provided
under NOTICE BOARD.
List
of Holidays & Calendar of Events:
As Provided in the NOTICE BOARD. Candidates
are expected to report on the specified reopening
dates. Condo nation of attendance on medical
grounds is not permissible, unless supported
by valid papers, apart from just a medical certificate.

Library:
As a Candidate enrolls for a particular course,
he or she will be issued 2 borrower’s
card from the college library, which can be
used, for borrowing the textbooks from the library
as per the norms. For more info please refer

Internet:
Students enrolling for paramedical courses can
have access to digital library (HELINET) from
the institution’s computer lab.
Timings:
Office functions on all the working days between
9 am – 5 pm. However it is made flexible
during Admission time.

Role
of Parents: It is very important
for parents to accompany their wards at the
time of admission as this will not only give
the moral support to the candidates, but will
also help in establishing the parents –teachers
relation.
Parents play a key role in
shaping up the academic career of their wards.
Parents are also expected to cooperate with
the administrative authorities of the institution
in implementing the disciplinary rules. Parents
are most welcome to have periodical appraisals
of their wards from the concerned Principal
/ teacher.
As we constantly strive to

Rules
and Regulations
“All admissions are subject to
the rules and regulations of the University
and the final admission will be approved based
on the Admission criteria as laid down by”
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences”,
Bangalore.
Payment of fees in time is the responsibility
of student / parent and delay of the same shall
attract penal charges as decided by the Management
from time to time.
The College and Hostel fee shall be paid in
full at the beginning of the academic year.
No interim requests for the refund / adjustment
will be entertained.
